Christmas Eve

As tradition goes we open pajamas on Christmas Eve. This is Justin sitting in Alex's lap with his new T-Rex PJ's.

It is also tradition to have a DVD white elephant exchange....this is a picture of some of the gang trying to get rid of their DVD's to #14 (Justin).....since this day Justin honestly believes he is 14 years old, he even threw a nice fit about how he is 14....he is so funny!

Justin made Matt take him outside because he claims he heard Santa and his reindeer outside on Christmas Eve......what a curious little boy.

Matt's Photo Shoot

So Matt and I decided to take a picture of just the kids this year for Christmas cards for various reasons (the main one being that we were never home all together to coordinate it). I am on the computer and Matt decides to set up a Photo Shoot in the Living Room.....he had asked me how to work the camera so he could get the lighting right. He then recruited me as his assistant (all I had to do was wait until he said okay and push the button to take the picture). This is one of Matt's test shots for lighting, angle, etc......
......and this is what becomes of it....


When he finished he said, "I should've been a photographer"
and I replied, "yeah, just like you should've been an entertainer!" (he always told me that when we were dating =) Thank you for your sense of humor Matt =)
............turns out we used one for our Christmas Card.............

Thanksgiving Randomness

Justin takes his nap on the couch every day and with a full house there was no room to put the chips & dip so he became the official holder because we knew he wouldn't hog them all =)

Aunt Jaimi made Caramel Apples from scratch..yes scratch. The kids got to decorate them with their favorite candy. Justin, however, chose sprinkles!

I interrupted Justin making his "Sand Angel" by putting Brandon on him.

REALITY

Me pregnant with Brandon at church on my due date.......the next picture is about 15 hours later

We'll just name this picture Reality.... a picture tells a thousand words and you can tell by how I look is exactly how I felt...far from pretty, however, still somehow happy...... =)

And again, this is how Matt felt....wait a second, did he deliver Brandon or did I? Oh I'm sorry, I forgot, you didn't sleep very well in that recliner that folded out into a bed! (In all honesty Matt was a big help but I couldn't resist)

And Danny brought Chocolate Cigars to celebrate! Danny is a natural (either he's watched too many movies or he's done this a lot....lol) Matt on the other hand is a Rookie (I think he thinks it's like a cigarette....oh Matt you have a lot to learn)! And then there's Brandon, sleeping through all the nonsense.

Pumpkin Patch & Carving

I kept trying to get a picture of these two but they were either out of the picture before it took or they were just a flash in the bottom of the screen so we finally made them stop to take a quick picture inside e Corn Maze.

Justin's Pumpkin ended up losing a tooth and Matt's mouth ended up in the shape of a perfect "M." He said he didn't realize it until afterwards, what do you think?

Random Pictures

This is Justin proudly eating his first Soy Cheese Quesadilla.......did he like it??? I really don't think he did, he has just been talking about Soy Cheese so much that once he finally tried it he was thinking it was going to be good. He tried so hard to convince himself it tasted good. When I went into the kitchen later to clean up I noticed he had left most of it on his plate!

Justin's favorite place....Blenders. He orders it himself, "Banana with chocolate and soy milk." This is Justin patiently waiting for his dad to put the lid on his smoothie.

This is at the Lemon Festival. That little guy coming down the slide is Justin, Cassi is at the bottom.

Justin about to whack to ball, he was so good at this "air baseball" game. He actually grew a little crowd of people cheering for him.

Justin told me to come look at his fireplace, and this is what I found......I think he gets the Hansen creative genes when it comes to playing =)
