Circus Vargas 2008

Circus Vargas came to town and Justin was very excited to go. Matt and I took Justin and Dad took Cassi, it was fun (Justin was a bit disappointed because there were no lions, there were only dogs and a horse, but he got over it). Here's a picture of Cassi and Justin hula hooping in the Circus Ring before the Circus started (the only picture of about 20 that turned out because they wouldn't stop moving)

They also got to learn how to juggle handkerchiefs (no pictures turned out) and balance a huge feather...here's Justin and Cassi with their feathers they were balancing....The Ring Master asked Justin what his name was and was talking about him in the microphone...he was totally oblivious. They had a blast!

Cassi taught Justin what to do with Cotton Candy since he didn't like to eat it, "you wike my muthtath?"

This is a picture I took real quick and I gave a copy of it to Matt for his office (he thought he was cool wearing his dad's shoes and hat)!

We finally hooked up the bike trailer and Justin loved it (that is the first 3 times)....now he says "it too boring" or "I have stuff to do, maybe tomorrow"

Justin went and saw Cassi in a little school play and this was part of Cassi's costume as an elephant, he enjoyed it (especially because it makes an elephant noise)

This is the last picture you'll see of Matt's 1995 Honda Accord EX with manual transmission. He upgraded to a new 2009 Toyota Camry with leather interior and a navigation system...fully loaded, it's his baby. He finally let us break it in by eating a piece of Costco pizza and a hot dog, and even a drink! I'll have to take a picture of the new car

Monterey Bay Aquarium

On our way up the coast we stopped to see the Elephant Seals. They had their babies earlier in the week so it was fun to see the little ones (well, as little as they get). This picture is of one part of the beach that was filled with them...i have many more pictures but I think one will do!

We also stopped at a neat little place called Ragged Point, this is Justin on a gazebo overlooking the ocean

I snapped this shot out the dirty window driving along the PCH, what a beautiful sunset....we met Matt later at the hotel in Marina, he was able to go the Aquarium with us the next day amongst his recruiting.

We (Mom, Dad, Cassi, Matt, Justin, and I) met up at the Aquarium the next day with Billy and Angie.

I snapped this shot of the Octopus with my flash....then Angie started laughing because it said all over the exhibit to not use your flash on the Octopus.....oooopppss.....Mom did it too before we saw the signs =)

We had a lot of fun with Mom, Dad, Billy, and Angie. Afterwards we were going to eat at Bubba Gumps but the wait was too long so we ate at Fish Hopper. They had the best Clam Chowder ever and it wasn't really fishy tasting! We tried some of Dad's Swordfish, it's not fishy, tastes more like chicken! Thanks Billy and Angie for picking a yummy spot to eat! I took way too many pictures so I had no space left on my camera to capture Forrest Gump, Cassi & Dad getting drenched and stranded on a rock when a huge wave came, a total 80's singer that was signing cd's he was selling, and much more....maybe next time. Thanks to Mom, Dad, and Cassi for inviting us!
